Our Elegant Events team had an incredible time working with Rebecca and Aaron on their intimate tented New Jersey wedding at Rebecca’s parent’s home.
Being at home allowed Rebecca and her wedding party to have their hair and makeup done on-site while relaxing. Aaron was able to get ready with his guys and take some time for photos before he and Rebecca had their first look.
Before their wedding ceremony, the couple did a majority of their family photos, and everyone gathered for the Ketubah signing.
The couple had a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony, surrounded by family and friends. A chuppah was created with two tallitot held by four rustic wooden poles. Their recessional – “Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift was a little less traditional but lots of fun!
Rebecca and Aaron took time for a leisurely walk around the block for some time alone as guests gathered for cocktail hour.
An elegant sailcloth tent was erected on the property for an evening of dinner and dancing. Tables were draped in soft white linen and adorned with floral arrangements of white hydrangea, white garden roses, veronica, and seeded eucalyptus in silver compotes.
Modern china, vintage lace napkins, custom menu cards, and floral-patterned place cards at each setting completed the tablescape.
The evening began with a welcome by newlyweds and a few toasts before a family-style dinner created by celebrity chef Ilan Hall. After dinner, the couple opened the dancefloor with their first dance to “Come and Get Your Love” by Redbone.
After an evening of dancing, guests enjoyed some Sticky Toffee Pudding, Gelato, and other sweet treats before ending this incredible night.
